M & M & Company (Precision Land Surveyors Inc.) is a leading residential and commercial land surveying and mapping firm based in the Los Angeles area, locally owned and serving Los Angeles and surrounding counties. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AutoCAD Civil 3D Drafting Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and mapping for land surveying projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D, and be familiar with California land use and mapping standards. While prior experience is, we are open to considering motivated candidates with a strong foundation in AutoCAD Civil 3D and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare survey drawings, maps, plats, and exhibits using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Draft architectural, boundary, ALTA/ACSM land title, prevailing setback, roof height certification, lot line adjustment, and record of survey/corner record maps

Work closely with surveyors and project managers to ensure accuracy and project deadlines.

Organize and maintain project files and digital data in accordance with company standards.

Adapt to company drafting standards and workflows, with a willingness to learn and incorporate feedback to produce consistent, high quality-maps that meets our clients' needs and preferences.

Requirements:

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Drafting experience.

Working understanding of land survey terminology, mapping standards, and legal descriptions

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong communication and time management abilities.

Education:

Associates or technical certification in Drafting, Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field ( but not required with experience).
