Job Skills / Requirements

This is a STANDING/WALKING post which requires you to be on your feet while on duty. This post is INSIDE a retail store. As a retail security guard, you will be expected to maintain a professional demeanor while providing superior customer service to our clients and your surrounding communities.

Responsibilities:

Monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to deter theft

Communicate constantly with the manager on duty regarding any suspicious activity Implement loss prevention strategies and procedures to minimize risk

Monitor and respond to alarms to detect potential theft

Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries or concerns.

Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of loss prevention procedures and protocols

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and conflict management

Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally

Attention to detail and strong observation skills

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Must present a bouncer like physique

Certification Requirements (Any)

Valid MD Guard Card/ Security License

Valid State ID

Valid Social Security Card

2+ years of experience

Law Enforcement experience preferred

Must have open availability (including weekends).
