Calibration Technician

Job Description

SUMMARY:

The Calibration Technician performs a variety of calibration, testing, diagnostic, and repair functions to support operational efficiency and ensure compliance with quality assurance standards. This role reports directly to the Facility Director. Classification level may vary based on knowledge, experience, and performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Maintain and update calibration records using the QT9 database.

· Coordinate calibration schedules with production supervisors.

· Perform routine calibration, maintenance, and diagnostics on equipment including but not limited to:

- Gas mass flow controllers

-Temperature control and measurement devices

- pH and chlorine sensors and monitoring systems

QUALIFICATIONS:

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

· Basic math skills.

· Familiarity with standard hand tools.

· Foundational knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting techniques.

· Experience with electronic test equipment (e.g., voltmeters, ammeters).

· Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.

· Familiarity with Linux and/or Python is a plus, though not required.

· Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
