Shift Team Leader

Job Summary

A Shift Team Leader supervises Crew and WetGo Leads and other Team Members. The Team Leader reports to a Supermarket Store Leader. Responsibilities include hiring, training, coaching, directing and developing the team, growing sales, ensuring excellent customer service, controlling costs, and continuously improving processes.

Job Description

Experience Required: 3 to 5 years

Experience Desired: 1-3 years Retail Management or supervisory experience

Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent

Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds

Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities

Interview, select and train Team Members

Direct the work of Team Members

Appraise Team Members' productivity and efficiency

Handle Team Member issues including complaints

Manage the budget and inventory for the department or location

Consistently make sound decisions and take appropriate actions to meet or exceed key performance metrics

Interview Team Member candidates and support their professional development

Provide continuous feedback and coaching to Team Members

Ensure Team Members are trained and conditions meet safety and operational standards
