Job Title: Press Line Operator
Job Description- 19-23/hour
Operators will lead in all aspects of operation of Press lines including changeovers, machine start-up, running, and shut-down. Support operations in becoming World Class in all aspects of the business, beginning with Safety. Run all jobs in accordance with customer specification, manufacturing specification, print specification, color folders, and standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities
Ensure all appropriate paperwork is filled out accurately and completely, including production reports, job verification sheets, ink usage sheets, QA reports, roll tickets, S.O.C sheets and others as assigned.
Work with and direct the press assistant and pit crew to minimize job change-over and down time.
Train and direct the press assistant to become efficient at all required duties defined in each level of the assistant training matrix on time.
Comply with all 5S and WCM initiatives.
Understand and ensure product safety.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.Essential Skills
1+ year of manufacturing experience
Ability to work 12-hour shifts
Capacity to remain on feet for the entirety of the shift
Proficiency in entering data into a computer system
Ability to function independently
Capability to lift 50 lbsAdditional Skills & Qualifications
General production knowledge
Experience in packaging and machine operating

Work Environment
The facility in Shelbyville, KY, is clean and temperature-controlled, specializing in printing on foil and packaging for pharmaceutical companies. Operators work a 4-day work week with 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM, Monday through Thursday. The environment includes large printing presses, and teamwork and independence are both valued. Be prepared for an adhesive smell throughout the facility.

The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
Direct placement- benefits day 1
-Review every 60 days for chance at hourly increase
