Aerotek Is Hiring 3rd Shift CNC Machine Operators In Clayville, NY

Join our team as a CNC Machine Operator, where you'll produce quality production parts according to print specifications, while receiving ongoing direction and training.

Pay: $20-$22 per hour

Shift:

3rd shift: Mon-Thurs 10pm-8am

Responsibilities:

Demonstrate proper work methods and procedures, use of tools and equipment, and adhere to safe work practices under direct and continued training.

Run written programs for CNC machines to produce production parts as necessary.

Perform simple machining operations to support cell deliveries with continual direction.

Comply with all rules and regulations outlined in the employee handbook.

Carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position, to support department objectives and develop skills.

Adhere to CORE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required.

Follow all Environmental Health & Safety guidelines, including wearing required personal protective equipment.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Proficient in machine operation, production, lathe, and blueprint reading.

Experience in machining and machine operating.

Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.

Knowledge of basic machine shop practices.

Use of basic shop mathematics with continued guidance.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. independently.

Experience of 6+ months in a similar role.

Physical capability to bend, lift, squat, twist, reach overhead, stand for long periods, and climb stairs.

Work Environment:

Physical activity required, including standing for up to 8 hours and lifting, in a facility committed to excellence in production.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
