Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist responsible for setting up and operating DMG Mori Seiki Mills. This role involves handling setups, edits, G&M codes, tool changes, and troubleshooting, with expectations of 4-6 setups per day. You will work on low-volume runs of 25 parts or less, including prototype parts for the engineering team, utilizing both manual mills and lathes. Additionally, you will inspect your own parts to ensure quality.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate DMG Mori Seiki Mills.
Handle setups, edits, G&M codes, tool changes, and troubleshooting.
Perform 4-6 setups per day.
Work on low-volume runs and prototype parts for the engineering team.
Operate manual mills and lathes.
Inspect own parts to ensure quality and accuracy.Essential Skills
3+ years of CNC Mill setup experience.
Ability to make G&M edits.
Proficiency in reading production and short-run blueprints.
2-year CNC degree or certificate.
Experience with manual mills or lathes, CNC machining, CNC mill, CNC lathe.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in using calipers and gauges for inspections.
Shop math experience.

Work Environment
Our facility is a very clean, organized, and well-lit manufacturing environment, which is climate-controlled for comfort. You will work in a smaller, more intimate team consisting of 13 people within a department that includes 3 mills and 3 turning centers, all of which are Mori Seiki.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shoreview, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $31.00/hr.
