Job Description

Candidates will be operating Mazak and Mitsubishi flat lasers to help blank parts for multiple different industries. The client is a short-medium run, high mix environment. Candidates will be responsible for loading sheet metal, verifying programs, running the machine, unloading parts, and checking tolerances. We are willing to train anyone who is a reliable employee and willing to learn. This role involves manufacturing a wide range of products, including many auto parts, making it ideal for individuals who love cars.

Responsibilities

Operate Mazak and Mitsubishi flat lasers

Load sheet metal into the machines

Verify programs before running the machine

Run the machine efficiently and safely

Unload finished parts

Check tolerances of the partsEssential Skills

Experience with machine operation

Troubleshooting skills

Experience with press brakes

Laser operation skills

Experience with tube benders

Knowledge of CNC machinesAdditional Skills & Qualifications

1 year of experience in Machine Operating

Work Environment

You will be working in a medium-sized shop. Steel-toed boots and safety glasses are required. The facility is clean and well-maintained.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Saint Paul, Minnesota.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
