Job Description
We are currently seeking a cherry picker operator to assist with order selecting in the large pick section of our facility located in Upper Marlboro, MD. This night shift position requires candidates to work from 3:30 pm until the completion of tasks, which varies based on the workload and team efficiency. The role involves pulling and transporting products weighing between 2 lbs and 75 lbs using a cherry picker. Candidates must have experience from a large distribution center and at least 2 years of daily cherry picker operation. Experience with wire guidance systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
Operate a cherry picker to pull and transport products.
Work efficiently to complete orders within the shift timeframe.
Handle products ranging from 2 lbs to 75 lbs.
Maintain accuracy and speed in order picking.
Adhere to safety protocols while operating equipment.
Assist in keeping the warehouse clean and organized.Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years of daily cherry picker operation experience.
Experience working in a large distribution center (100,000+ sqft).
Strong attendance and punctuality record.
Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting up to 75 lbs.
Familiarity with wire guidance systems (preferred).Additional Skills & Qualifications
Strong work history with no more than 4 jobs in the past 5 years.
Ability to provide explanations for any job changes.

Work Environment
Our facility is a large, fast-paced warehouse spanning over 220,000 square feet with over 25 bay doors. The environment is clean and organized, with separate sections for racks and a wire room. The candidate will work in the large pick segment, featuring floor-to-ceiling racks and wire guidance systems. The warehouse, which opened on February 1st, 2024, requires all employees to maintain cleanliness and organization in their workspaces.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Upper Marlboro, Maryland.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
