Electrical Engineer

Location: Geneva, OH

A client of Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer. This Electrical Engineer will be responsible for full engineering lifecycle - design, develop, implement, modification, and analyze parts. Other responsibilities include collaborating with other engineers, mechanical, designers, and electrical, to prepare plans, designs, methods, and reports. The Electrical Engineer will complete engineering projects and electro-mechanical system designs to ensure the development, implementation, and maintenance of new systems and products.

Must Haves:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or STEM related degree)

5+ years of experience in electrical engineering

Experience with: control system design, power system design (VFDs)

Developing electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

2D AutoCAD (SolidWorks preferred)

Product Data Management (PDM) software experience (Solid Works EPDM is a plus) & Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (SAP preferred)

Experience with digital electrical circuits, electrical component selection, and panel wiring
