Job Title: Lathe Machinist
Job Description
As a Lathe Machinist, you will operate one or two Hardinge lathe machining centers to produce aerospace and medical parts. You will be responsible for inspecting parts using basic inspection equipment and performing necessary documentation for ISO audits. Production runs typically range from 100 to 500 parts. You will perform changeovers once parts are completed, transitioning from one lathe machine to another. The parts you will work on have tight tolerances, and you will need to monitor your machine closely to ensure measurements are precise.
Responsibilities
Operate Hardinge lathe machining centers for aerospace and medical parts production.
Inspect parts using basic inspection equipment and document for ISO audits.
Perform machine changeovers after completion of parts.
Monitor machine operations to ensure precise measurements are maintained.Essential Skills
Technical degree and/or 2+ years of professional machining experience.
Experience operating CNC lathe machines.
Ability to inspect own parts and read blueprints.
Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Hardinge IIISP, 42SP, and Fanuc controls is a plus.
Ability to fully set up machines for production runs.Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
