OSS Engineer (f/m/d) A1 Competence Delivery Center

What you do

Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of ACS platforms (HDM/Motive, AVS, Genie etc.) ensuring their smooth operation for CPE management across both fixed and mobile networks.

Work with TR protocols (TR-069, TR-369, TR-181) to facilitate automated CPE data collection, device provisioning, and management for a wide range of devices.

Supporting production and test Operational Support Systems (OSS) and platforms.

Develop and implement automation solutions using scripting languages (Python, Bash, SQL) to streamline tasks, improve efficiency, and reduce manual efforts.

Work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to integrate new solutions and ensure OSS platforms scalability to meet business and technical needs.

Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for Wi-Fi tools and other network systems and provide training to other team members and departments on how to utilize the tools effectively.

Evaluate existing tools and processes, implementing enhancements to increase platform functionality, performance, and resilience.

What you offer

Proven experience with ACS platforms such as Nokia HDM (Motive, AVS, Genie) or similar, along with a solid understanding of TR-069, TR-369, and TR-181 protocols for CPE device management.

Familiarity with networking protocols, data technologies, and device management techniques, especially in relation to CPEs and ACS platforms.

Strong experience in programming or scripting languages such as Python, Bash. Ability to create custom scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency.

Ability to write SQL queries, procedures, and functions.

Solid experience working with Linux systems and their administration (e.g., RHEL), including troubleshooting and configuration management.

Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience in developing automated solutions to enhance network management and streamline operational processes.

Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and quickly implement effective solutions.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Flexibility to travel within the A1 Group footprint as required to support projects, collaborate with teams, or troubleshoot systems.
