Refrigeration Engineer
Location: Based fully remote in the UK with International Travel

About the Role:
As a Refrigeration Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of vital utility equipment. Based in the UK, you will be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team and will have the opportunity to make an impact both locally and internationally. This role offers a mix of planned and reactive maintenance, plant improvements, and troubleshooting, all while adhering to strict health and safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on refrigeration and utility equipment
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on-site
Record equipment history and maintain quality documentation
Provide detailed handovers to team members
Ensure compliance with health and safety and GMP regulations at all times
Manage contractors and ensure adherence to site procedures
Support continuous improvement efforts and contribute ideas for equipment reliability
Qualifications:
F-GAS 2079 CAT 1 certification
Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Refrigeration or equivalent qualification
Required Skills:
Solid experience within the refrigeration service industry
Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Mechanical or electro-engineering qualifications (preferred)
Experience in utilities systems (boilers, HVAC, compressors) is advantageous
Prior experience in pharmaceutical engineering and freeze dryer systems is a bonus
Proactive, results-oriented attitude with a focus on continuous improvement
Package:
Competitive salary of £55K based on experience
Hours: Monday to Thursday (08:30-17:00), Friday (08:30-14:30)
