Licensed Therapist Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to clients' needs.
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans with measurable goals.
- Maintain detailed and confidential records of client interactions and progress.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care.
- Educate clients and families about mental health issues and coping strategies.
- Stay updated with the latest therapeutic techniques and mental health research.
- Offer crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute distress.
- Adhere to ethical standards and state licensing requirements in practice.
- Participate in regular supervision and professional development opportunities.
Licensed Therapist Requirements
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
- Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 years of clinical experience post-licensure
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
- Proficient in documentation and client record-keeping
- Experience with diverse populations and cultural competencies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
