Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance and repair tasks at a small apartment building and condominium community including but not limited to appliance repair, construction painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems in a timely manner.
Complete paint and maintenance on vacant units to prepare for new tenant.
Manage and complete tenant work orders in a timely manner.
Communicate effectively with residents and management about work orders, turns, and other property needs.
Conduct facilities maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and functional environment for residents or employees.
Some on-call required.
Minimum Requirements:
Interior painting experience
Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, and Appliance repair experience in multi housing setting
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to complete drywall repairs
Perform move-out turns
Ability to do resident work orders
Valid CA Driver's license
Automobile insurance
Reliable transportation
Schedule is Monday-Friday, 20-25 hours per week, and on-call shifts.
The location is in Stockton.
Must be a team player, good problem solving skills, follow safety procedures, willing to respond to emergencies, and ensure positive resident satisfaction. Will need to travel to multiple properties in Stockton or stores, assist sub-contractors, able to work on an on-call schedule if needed.
Compensation depending on experience. After probationary period, employee is eligible to a Simple IRA retirement plan, cell phone reimbursement, and paid-time off.
Must be able to pass a physical and drug test.
PPE and Tools provided by employer. Mileage reimbursement when traveling between jobs.
