Automobile Dealership Controller

Job Description

Growing dealership group based in Boca Raton with locations in the Southeast is looking to add an experienced Controller with a minimum of 5 years automotive accounting at the Controller or Senior Office Manager Level to handle multiple stores (up to 2).

Controller Job Duties include, but limited to:

*All the daily accounting operations of the company.

*Daily banking activities with cash flow reporting and weekly schedule / journal analysis.

*Timely prepare, analyze, and transmit monthly factory financial statements.

*Provide weekly and monthly summary operational reports to Dealer Principal.

*Monthly sales tax filings in FL and GA.

*Implement and maintain financial controls, guidelines and financial analysis.

*Oversee billing department including title work, payables & receivables, payroll and reconciliations.

* Significant communication and interaction with ownership and departmental managers.

* DealerTrack DMS experience is preferred and Excel experience is mandatory.

*Some overnight travel required.

*Accounting degree a plus.
