About the job you’re considering

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CMS Content Editor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and editing digital content using content management systems (CMS). This role requires a strong command of language, excellent organizational skills, and a good understanding of CMS platforms like Sitecore, AEM, SEO, and digital marketing trends. This role requires being local to Shelton, CT.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and update website content using the CMS.

Edit, proofread, and format content for clarity, consistency, and accuracy.

Ensure all content complies with brand guidelines and editorial standards.

Optimize content for search engines to increase traffic and engagement.

Conduct regular content audits to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the CMS.

Analyze content performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in content management.

Requirements

Proven experience as a content editor or similar role, preferably with CMS tools like Sitecore and AEM.

Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization.

Familiarity with various content management systems (e.g., Sitecore, AEM, WordPress, Drupal, Joomla).

Good organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

Experience with HTML, CSS, and basic web design principles.
