The Position

In this comprehensive role, you will play an important role as a Quality Business Partner for our Global Contract Manufacturing (GCM) Drug Substance and Drug Product business areas, ensuring the implementation and sustainability of our QMS Standards. You will engage with quality management functions, support audits, manage compliance, and foster best practices across the Operational Excellence department. Your will be:

Acting as a Business Area Quality Partner for the GCM Drug Substance and Drug Product business areas within the Operational Excellence, and effectively implementing and maintaining Novo Nordisk’s QMS Standards.

Continuously identifying and initiating improvements in existing processes.

Collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders from various backgrounds.

Driving Quality Management Reviews, supporting audits and level 1 inspections in collaboration with others, and managing quality KPIs on performance boards.

Handling compliance signals and being responsible for process improvements and quality monitoring trends. Leading ad hoc quality-related projects and initiatives, being the subject matter expert for designated processes.

You will also be engaging with the Quality Partner network and expert groups to foster quality initiatives. To succeed in this role, you will need to use your business acumen to connect the dots, align with different stakeholders, plan, prioritise and assign the tasks accordingly.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

A Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Pharmacy or a related field. A Bachelor's degree in combination with strong relevant experience will be considered as well.

Experience working as a business partner/in consultant roles in large organisations, including some experience acting as a sparring partner to senior management.

Preferably, you have experience in Quality. Experience in supply chain management, pharmaceutical manufacturing will be seen as an additional advantage.

Familiarity with working in CMO environments and handling development, change control, compliance and risk management are desirable.

On a personal competencies level, you will need to have very good business acumen, communication skills, strong cultural awareness and open-mindedness to engage with stakeholders. Your role will involve providing quality consultation, driving process improvements, and working collaboratively with stakeholders to maintain high-quality standards.

About the Department

You will be a part of the Operational Excellence team, which is anchored in our Business Support department and dedicated to advancing quality and operational standards across GCM Drug Substance and Drug Product. Our team focuses on training, lean methodologies, and quality improvements.
