Job Summary:
The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise network infrastructures across a variety of environments, including WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, and SD-Branch. This role requires deep hands-on experience with leading network device vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Juniper Networks. The engineer will ensure high availability, performance, and security of network systems, leveraging broad expertise in network technologies to support complex operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, implement, and maintain WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, and SD-Branch network infrastructures.
Manage and troubleshoot network devices from Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Juniper Networks.
Ensure network systems meet high availability, performance, and security standards.
Perform network upgrades, patches, migrations, and document network architectures and procedures.
Support incident response efforts, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend network improvements.
Collaborate with technical teams to support new initiatives and maintain network compliance with security policies.
Skills Required:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
5+ years of professional experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise environments.
Strong hands-on experience with WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, and SD-Branch architectures.
Proficiency with major networking vendors, including Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Juniper Networks.
Solid understanding of network security principles, firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
Experience with network troubleshooting tools and methodologies.
Ability to create and maintain detailed network documentation and diagrams.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in cross-functional teams.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, JNCIP) are highly preferred.
