Vaisala Xweather is looking for a Sales Development Lead to join team at Xweather
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Development Leader to lead our Net Revenue Retention Development initiatives within the Vaisala Xweather operations. This role is crucial in driving customer retention, expanding existing accounts, and ensuring sustained revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales operations, development or revenue operations, a deep understanding of customer success strategies, and a servant attitude in continuously assisting the sales, product, and marketing teams to advance in the global subscription business. You aim to be the Gandalf of Net Revenue Retention, rather than the ring bearer. Yes, being a bit of a nerd won’t hurt.
Key Responsibilities:
Net Revenue Retention Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive actions to maximize net revenue retention across Vaisala Xweather's customer base.
Driving Upsell & Cross-Sell with CS: Collaborate closely with the Customer Success teams to identify concrete ways for upselling and cross-selling, ensuring customers derive maximum value from our solutions.
Process Optimization: Diagnose inefficiencies in sales, marketing, and CS workflows, then implement solutions that stick.
Sales Leadership: Mentor and develop a team of sales representatives by providing ongoing support and guidance on best practices.
Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data analytics to track performance metrics, identify trends, and drive informed decisions to enhance revenue retention efforts.
Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and other departments to align data and strategies to drive cohesive efforts toward revenue growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
Proven experience supporting global or multi-segment sales teams in the enterprise sector globally.
Strong experience from a modern sales tool stack: CRM, outreach, enrichment, engagement. Salesforce experience is a must.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Experience on implementation of MEDPICC, Science of Revenue, SPICED or a similar SaaS driven sales methodology
Proficiency in analytics, data utilization, and automation–continuously hungry to push for what AI can do.
Salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. In addition to base salary this role has access to short term incentive plan.
This position can be located in Espoo, Minneapolis, MN or Boulder, CO. You will report to Teppo Kuisma (), Head of Sales, Marketing and Partnerships who is located in Boulder Colorado.
