Purpose of the position
We’re looking for a Finance Trainee to join our Controlling team at HIAB. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis and performance management within a leading global company.

Our traineeship program is initially for 6 months, with the possibility to be extended up to 1 year based on performance and business needs. It's designed to help you grow, learn, and become a valuable part of the team.

Main tasks and responsibilities
Support financial reporting operational activities
Support end-to-end controlling tasks through various sets of systems and data sources
Support the Supervisor in the communication / escalation process to ensure alignment of interested parties
Support the annual budget, financial forecasts, and cost variance analysis for the various service lines and a consolidated one for the entire organization
Support regular standard management reporting for the various service line leads and the entire organization
Handling ad-hoc requests in a timely manner.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be enrolled in a Bachelor Degree in Finance / Accounting / Business or to be in your last years of
studies
No previous experience required
Full professional proficiency of written and oral English language required
Problem solving, organisational and communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT) or Google Workspace tools
Proactiveness and ability to work both in team and independently
Display a strong work ethic and self-motivation
Ability to meet strict deadlines.
