POSITION DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the VP of Integration, the Process Development Manager will play a critical part in the post-acquisition integration process, working closely with newly acquired companies to document, analyze, and standardize operational processes. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, with a strong background in manufacturing and Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies. This candidate should be intimately familiar with a variety of process documentation tools, including basic process maps, swim-lane diagrams, kanban, SIPOC analysis, Value-Stream Mapping, and Business Process Model and Notation. The Process Development Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and ensure alignment with corporate standards and best practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with newly acquired companies to understand and document existing manufacturing, operational, and business processes
Assess current state operations and identify opportunities for standardization, optimization, and integration into corporate workflows
Lead process mapping, gap analysis, and root cause identification using Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI tools
Facilitate cross-functional workshops to design future-state processes and ensure buy-in from key stakeholders
Develop and implement scalable process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety across the organization
Create SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation to support training and knowledge transfer
Collaborate with Finance & Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Commercial, and HR teams to ensure seamless process integration
Track and report progress on integration and improvement initiatives using KPIs and project management tools
Support change management efforts, including communication planning, training, and stakeholder engagementQUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
5+ years of experience in manufacturing and light assembly operations, process engineering, or continuous improvement roles
Proven experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies (certification preferred) including process mapping and SOP development
Proficiency with tools like Visio, Minitab, or process modeling software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
Experience with multi-site process management
Willingness to travel to acquired sites as needed (up to 50%)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
