Job Title: Data Migration Specialist

Location: Columbus, OH

Marketing Method is hiring a Data Migration Specialist to join our team in Columbus, OH. Our work is varied and challenging, involving clients considering first time implementations as well as those experienced businesses looking to enhance their business applications.

Data Migration Specialist Responsibilities:

Support client work on data planning, strategy, and execution.

Assist with managing the development and testing activities for the data migration process for S/4 HANA implementations.

Collaborate with the data team through the scope, extraction, mapping, and loading of both master data sets and transactional data sets from multiple sources into SAP systems across project phases and go-live.

Provide support for SAP Technology pursuits and Practice Development initiatives.

Provide prompt updates to project manager.

Communicate interdepartmentally to ensure goals are met.

Data Migration Specialist Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,. or a related field.

Proven experience in data migration projects, preferably with SAP S/4 HANA.

Strong understanding of data migration tools and methodologies.

Proficiency in SQL, ETL tools, and data mapping techniques.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Able to multitask, prioritizing task effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in SAP technologies or relevant field.

Experience with other ERP systems and data migration to SAP.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
