Description:

A client is looking for a Director of IT based out of Bengaluru, Karnataka 560058. This person will be coming in, during the middle of a major integration project with a tight deadline. Initially, the focus will be on project management to ensure smooth progress, reviewing existing documentation, researching, and understanding the overall business outcomes. This involves coordinating with the business across multiple countries, understanding the current state and future direction, and leading change management efforts.

Upon starting/Initial work:

Project Management: Oversee the integration process, ensuring all tasks are on track and deadlines are met.

Documentation Review: Read through existing documentation, research, and understand the business outcomes.

Coordination: Work closely with the business to ensure seamless integration across multiple countries.

Change Management: Lead change management efforts, bringing in a project manager as needed.

Post-Integration:

Rationalization Plan: Develop a plan to streamline applications and systems, identifying opportunities for consolidation.

Cutover: Manage the transition to new systems and processes.

Standardization: Implement IT standards and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Immediate and long-Term Responsibilities:

Leadership: Define the IT vision and roadmap, aligning technology initiatives with business goals and Global IT standards.

Team Leadership: Manage and develop the IT team, fostering innovation and preparing for future needs.

System Implementation: Lead the deployment of new hardware and software systems in consultation with Global IT.

Infrastructure Management: Ensure the stability and performance of IT infrastructure, including data centers, networks, and servers.

Cybersecurity: Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and mitigate cyber threats.

Budget & Vendor Management: Optimize IT expenses and manage relationships with technology vendors.

Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry regulations and data privacy standards.

This role evolves from a project-focused position during the integration phase to a traditional IT leadership role, ensuring the smooth operation and strategic alignment of IT within the region.

Skills and Requirements

10+ years' experience working within a large enterprise environment with a global presence

Scope of work is more important than years of experience

Experience working with a mid to large ERP system

Experience and comfortable working in both Agile and Scrum based off project type/ demand

Experience working with Salesforce,

Experience managing a team; navigating relationships with high performers and low performers and able to speak to development strategy PM experience

SAP experience

Acquisition experience

Certifications like but not limited to; CISP, ITIL,

PMP

SAGE 300 experience null
