Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider – Internal Medicine

Location: Annapolis, MarylandJob Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with experience in Adult Primary Care to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions. We encourage new graduates to apply!Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions within the scope of Adult Primary Care/Internal Medicine.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, coordinating care with specialists when needed.

Prescribe and adjust medications and therapies based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.

Perform minor procedures as appropriate within credentialing and facility guidelines.

Provide preventive care, including health screenings, immunizations, and wellness education.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work, imaging studies, and EKGs.

Offer patient education and counseling on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and treatment adherence.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory and billing requirements.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to evidence-based practice guidelines.Qualifications:

Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (NP) or Physician Assistant Studies (PA).

Certification: Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C).

Licensure: Active state license to practice as an NP or PA in Maryland.

Skills: Strong diagnostic abilities, excellent communication, patient-centered care, and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Additional Requirements: DEA and CDS registration for prescribing controlled substances.Work Environment & Schedule:

Full-time position

Occasional Saturdays in our acute care clinic from 8am - 2pm.Benefits & Compensation:
