Job Description
Essential Functions
Knowledge of network operating systems and network management tools and equipment (routers, servers, switches, firewalls, workstations, and various computer operating systems)
Knowledge of operations related to LANs in a multi-server, multi-location, and multiple-location environment.
Knowledge of diagnostic methods or practices and troubleshooting techniques in the servicing and repair of computers and peripherals.
Knowledge of multiple operating systems.
Fundamental knowledge of networking functions, components, and connectivity issues and procedures.
Knowledge of electrical equipment used to support computers, peripherals, and hardware.

Back up and assist with AS/400 Daily Operation Support
AS/400 Backup and restore
Problem Investigations
Desktop user Support (EXCEL, Word, etc.)
Install and Upgrade Windows OS Software

Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system, Microsoft Windows server operating systems, Microsoft Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange environment (with SMTP Mail Routing and Spam Controls)
Working knowledge of Ethernet networking (TCP/IP, DNS, switching)
Working Experience troubleshooting hardware and software problems with vendor support staff
Ability to develop and use simple project schedules and standard project management terminology
Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirements
Two-year college education in a field related to computer science, Information Technology, computer repair, hardware, software, or related area: Preferably and A.S. (Associates of Science) degree
Work Experience Preferred
Minimum 1 - year experience in previous and directly related network experience, Help Desk Support, or other position of equal or lower job grade in the IT department
