We are looking for an experienced and motivated Front-End Developer (FED). The FED is responsible for completing front-end tasks and providing support to web applications. The FED is able to work independently in basic tasks, assuming ownership for the design and programming required. For more complex work, this individual will rely on existing designs and seek guidance from more senior positions. The FED should also be able to provide constant progress status to a senior level as needed and estimates for his tasks, that must be approved by his senior or technology lead of the current project.
A FED works with web applications and a variety of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript and is comfortable with content management systems platforms.
You will
Responsible for translating graphic designs delivered in composition documents into standard-compliant HTML and CSS
Collaborate in implementing data exchange between application layers via AJAX
Work closely with Creative, Business, Technology and QA teams to ensure quality and punctual web development
Translate graphical designs and wireframes into fully styled markup code
Implement technical solutions following the Capability’s best practices
Debug or troubleshoots simple issues in existing web applications
Provide feedback on policies and procedures when an opportunity for improvement exists
Proactively provide coaching and support to other members of the in fulfilling their tasks and improving their performance and overall technical skills
Ensure concise and clear documentation is maintained by all peers for the projects as dictated by each Capability’s guidelines and best practices
Debug or troubleshoot complex or critical issues that cannot be handled by junior positions, and provides root cause analysis
You have
Ideally, intermediate-advanced English Proficiency (B2+ reading, writing, and conversation)
At least 2+ years of experience working with Front-End technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
Experience dealing with Cross-browser and Responsive development
Excellent knowledge of recent development practices (Mobile First, MVC, Object-Oriented development)
Basic experience with popular JavaScript frameworks and cross-browser compatibility
Work experience with automation and pre-processing tools (e.g., Gulp, SASS)
Work experience integrating web solutions with external web services advanced-level knowledge of Front-End technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Knowledge of pre-processed CSS styling (SASS, LESS)
Fluency with data transfer formats and protocols popular in web applications (e.g., JSON, XML, HTTP)
Capable of working with version control systems (GIT)
Capable of building proof of concept prototypes
Capable of integrating a web solution based on a Content Management System
Capable of troubleshooting, debugging, and doing root cause analysis of web applications issues
Capable of consuming, parse and translate SOAP or REST web services
Working experience with Emails or Banners development
BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline; or equivalent experience as Software Developer)
Capable of writing code compliant with modern accessibility (e.g., ARIA, WCAG, Microformats, ADA, RDF) and SEO guidelines and best practices
Previous experience in pharmacy accounts
Experience in Digital Agencies projects, Web development projects, SCRUM/Agile software projects)
Knowledge of design patterns (e.g., model-view-controller, observer, object-oriented, etc.) and working with several mainstream libraries and frameworks (jQuery, React, VueJS, or any other)
