Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts.
• Handle daily bookkeeping, including data entry, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare financial statements such as profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with statutory laws and regulations.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Process payroll and employee reimbursements.
• Coordinate with external vendors, banks, and consultants as needed.
• Prepare invoices and payments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely payment of bills.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, etc.).
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits.
• Support internal teams with financial data and reporting as needed.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and tax laws.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, etc.).
