Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a Systems Developer to assist in the redevelopment of the Child Care Facility System using the Microsoft .NET technology stack. This full-time role is based in Albany, NY, with up to 50% telecommuting flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with technical teams to redesign the Facility Application Management System using ASP.NET MVC framework.

Support business analysts with system analysis and logical design tasks.

Conduct comprehensive unit testing and debug software defects.

Develop complex code using VB.NET and C#.

Create and maintain complex stored procedures and database triggers using Oracle PL/SQL.

Respond to business users with daycare-related data requests.

Report progress to Technical Leads, Project Managers, and Software Architects.

Adhere to software development best practices and security standards.

Participate in technical design sessions and code reviews.

Contribute to ongoing system improvements and modernization initiatives.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 years of experience developing N-tier .NET web applications.

6 years of experience writing PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, and triggers.

5 years of experience utilizing the Model View Controller (MVC) architecture.

3 years of experience developing in C#.

3 years of experience working with Oracle Databases.

Bachelor’s Degree required.

Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies, database design, and VMWare-based infrastructure environments.
