WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a key member of the IT team, the Software Developerwill play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that support and optimize manufacturing processes. This position requires strong expertise in computer software principles and a deep understanding of IT technologies.Other expectations may include:
Develop and enhance software applications to support and optimize manufacturing operations while ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness.
Build, refine, and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures to strengthen data management and system efficiency.
Work with hardware components to integrate software solutions and enhance functionality.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement bug fixes to maintain reliable software and services.
Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and engineers to gather requirements, analyze feedback, and implement software improvements that deliver effective solutions.
Contribute to a small, dynamic team with broad responsibilities, influencing multiple aspects of the company's operations.
This full-time, onsite role is based in Bend, OR, and requires in-person attendance.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
5+ years of hands-on Software Development experience
Strong proficiency in Object Pascal / Delphi and other programming languages, knowledge of software architecture and best practices
Extensive experience working with SQL databases: Firebird (preferred), MsSQL, MySQL, etc., ensuring efficient data management and performance optimization
Solid understanding of networking technologies, APIs, and web services
Experience in database and server administration, ensuring reliable operations and security
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
