As an Architectural Intern, you’ll support our architecture and design professionals in developing construction documents, design presentations, and coordinating projects. Working under the direct mentorship of architects, landscape architects, and project managers, you’ll contribute to both commercial and residential projects through drafting, modeling, research, and administrative support. This role offers immersive, hands-on experience in a fast-moving design-build environment—perfect for applying your academic knowledge and creative talent to real-world challenges.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing drawings, renderings, and design documents using AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp
Support project design development and documentation across all project phases
Create 2D/3D models and visualizations for client presentations
Conduct research on materials, codes, zoning laws, and construction techniques
Attend site visits, take measurements, and help document existing conditions
Participate in interdisciplinary project team meetings
Assist in the preparation of permit and bid packages
Help maintain digital and physical design libraries
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, landscape architects, and project managers to ensure cohesive project delivery
Other duties as assigned
Education/Certifications/Licenses
Education
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
Certifications
OSHA 10 or ability to obtain
Licenses
Driver’s License
Experience
Academic coursework in architecture or related field required
Prior internship or architectural work experience is a plus
Familiarity with architectural design, construction documents, and building systems preferred
Required Skills/Abilities
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc)
Familiarity with 3D modeling tools such as SketchUp, Rhino, D5, Lumion, or similar.
Basic knowledge of architectural codes, materials, and construction methods
Strong graphic presentation and layout skills
Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to learn, take initiative, and receive feedback constructively
