Quality Engineer

(Rincon, GA)

Kyungshin America Corp., a Hyundai distribution company located near Savannah, GA, is looking for an experienced and detailed Quality Engineer. This position will play a vital role in supporting the customer to ensure quality standards are exceeded.

Responsibilities

Represent the Quality department and work closely with Engineering and the customer.

Perform internal and external corrective actions, process control plans and inspection instructions.

Monitor customer assembly line to ensure operators have all necessary tools and resources.

Compile and report quality data for production, customer and supplier.

Document and report continuous quality improvement activities for the facility.

Emergency response and sharing of customer quality issues.

Check problems and write reports.

Act as customer liaison for Kyungshin America Corp within the HMGMA facility located in Ellabell, GA.

Qualifications

Mechanically inclined and able to assemble/disassemble to identify issues.

Ability to lead and manage a small team.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and across departments and cultures.

Able to travel from facility to customer on a regular basis.

Willing and able to work nights, as needed.

Education and Experience

A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.

At least 3 years of manufacturing experience required.

Experience in global manufacturing required.

Experience in the automotive industry is required.
