Job Title: Financial Data Analyst – FP&A

Reports to: Director, FP&A

This position is fully onsite at our corporate office in Woburn, MA.

Sponsorship is not available for this position. - Candidates must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder

Position Summary:

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong financial modeling and analysis skillset, process improvement orientation and the ability to ensure that financial performance is healthy and profitable ensuring that financial planning aligns with business objectives. This role's duties will require working with integrity, reliability and having the ability to carry out assigned duties with urgency, practicality and accountability. This position is for a creative team player with a talent for challenging the status quo, unique ideas and influence.

The role requires the above to be accomplished within Tecomet’s principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and a win first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation of Board Slides and KPI dashboards

Support consolidation of the Monthly Business Review Report

Prepare Finance dashboards and slide content for internal and external presentations

Support the development and consolidation of the company’s Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan

Partner with Functional Operating Expense leaders and site controllers to develop annual operating expense budgets. Report and analyze variances on a monthly basis, working with functional leads to manage spend as needed

Analyze and report on monthly financial status versus forecast and budget, identifying areas of improvement

Review monthly forecast rollups, working with site controllers to understand variances versus budget and prior forecast

Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis

Lead Financial System improvement projects by partnering with IT

Prepare pricing analytic files monthly ensuring correct pricing is attained

Perform other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by supervisor

Educational/Training Requirement:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field of study, MBA a plus

Experience:

2+ years of relevant work experience

Manufacturing experience will be a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proven work experience as a Financial Analyst, Accountant or similar role

Hands-on experience with financial and statistical software and finance databases, OneStream experience is a plus

Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts

Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas) and MS PowerPoint

Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP)

Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing

Proven analytical skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement/corrective actions

Excellent business partnering skills: ability to act as a business partner to cross-functional team members at all levels of the organization

Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines

High attention to detail

Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
