Description

The Manufacturing Manager plays a vital role in the entire production process, while ensuring safety, quality, consistency, efficiency and regulatory compliance throughout multiple facilities. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, leadership abilities, strategic and problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of manufacturing operations. This position reports to the VP of Operations, with regular communication to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

Developing and enhancing manufacturing operations across multiple facilities

Ensuring a safe and healthy working environment, in compliance with all federal and state regulations

Implementing, monitoring and evaluating Quality Assurance across all production

Analyzing manufacturing costs and optimizing efficiencies

Reporting and analysis to improve accountability and evaluate performance and effectiveness in manufacturing

Conduct regular, in-person evaluations of facilities to ensure effective and efficient manufacturing

Lead efforts to continually improve, update and modernize operations across all facilities

Skills

Strong mechanical expertise, maintenance experience a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to navigate federal and state regulatory environments

Excellent planning and organizational skills

Ability to set long-term goals and drive efforts to achieve

Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field preferred

Proven leadership experience in manufacturing/operations environment

Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite

Bilingual a plus

Ability to travel up to 50%
