ScopeThis is NOT just a programmer role — it’s hands-on commissioning: travel to sites, configure CHP systems (generator + control + site integration), troubleshoot, optimize, and train end users.
TechnologyComAp is a market leader in smart generator control and microgrid management systems. Candidate MUST be able to program and troubleshoot ComAp controllers without extensive handholding.
Typical Project1–5MW generator CHP plant (natural gas or biogas fueled) with smart load management, integrated with a customer’s facility or microgrid (possibly including solar/BESS).
Main DeliverableFully commissioned CHP system, running autonomously in either grid-parallel or islanded mode, compliant with project specs and able to be remotely monitored.
Travel and Work StyleVery field-driven. They need someone comfortable on job sites, dealing with real-world technical challenges, while professionally representing Lightfoot to the customer.
