Job title: Sanitation Technician
Available Schedules:
Weekday PM 6pm-6am M-Th, $21.50
Weekend PM 6pm-6pm Fri-Sun (Paid 40 hours) $22.50
Basic Function:
The position will complete the cleaning and sanitation of the production equipment and facility on order to maintain them in a clean and sanitary state.
Performs cleaning and sanitation duties according to Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP) and Master Sanitation Schedules.
Carries out specific instructions from Production Supervisor or designated Production Lead in accordance with the daily production schedule.
Primary Responsibilities:
Complete day to day cleaning and sanitation work duties
Duties include cleaning and sanitizing all production machinery and equipment throughout plant including conveyor belts, screens, filters, kettles, pipes, walls, totes, and tables.
Handle chemicals used in the process of cleaning and sanitation by following safety pre-cautions.
Document cleaning and sanitation activities records.
Able to priorities cleaning and sanitation duties to support production needs.
Using ATP bioluminescence device to verify cleaning and sanitation effectiveness
Observes and follows all safety procedures.
Uses all required PPE while on production floor.
Promptly reports all equipment malfunctions to leadership.
Observes and follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP), Food Safety Plan (HACCP) and Food Quality Plan (FQP).
Takes responsibility for producing high quality product in each step of production.
Participates in all necessary training that is required to successfully perform job responsibilities and increase effectiveness.
Work Environment:
Most areas are climate-controlled year-round.
Workers are near moving mechanical parts and caution must be observed.
Noise Level is moderate to loud.
Physical Demands:
Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Worker is required regularly to stand, walk, use hands, stoop, kneel, talk or hear
Qualifications:
· Education/experience: High school diploma or equivalent.
· Language ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to other employees of the organization.
· Reasoning ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
· Technical skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should possess knowledge of basic computer processing and mechanical functioning.

Pay Details: $21.50 to $22.50 per hour
