We're seeking a skilled Battery Management Engineer to design, develop, and optimize battery management systems for cutting-edge applications. Client is advanced lithium-ion cell and battery manufacturer with 81000+ facility in Carlsbad and Vista, California.

Responsibilities:

· Design and implement battery management systems (BMS) for lithium-ion batteries, ensuring safety, reliability, and performance.

· Develop algorithms for charge/discharge control, state-of-charge estimation, and thermal management.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams on hardware and software integration.

· Conduct testing and validation of BMS designs, analyzing data to improve functionality and efficiency.

· Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory standards to enhance product development.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or related field (master's preferred).

· Five Year Experience in battery system design and manufacturing, with a focus on lithium-ion technology.

· Experience in the development of high power and high voltage batteries

· Proficiency in circuit design, simulation tools, and battery modeling software.

· Strong knowledge of BMS architectures, algorithms, and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, SPI, I2C).

· Problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation in clean energy technologies.
