ACP/Verticomm seeks an exceptional Video Producer to elevate our visual storytelling capabilities and drive our content strategy forward. In this pivotal creative role, you'll harness your technical mastery and artistic vision to orchestrate the complete video production lifecyclefrom initial concept development through polished final delivery.
As the cornerstone of our visual content creation, you'll craft diverse, impactful media including dynamic commercials, immersive product showcases, captivating stadium animations, educational content, engaging podcasts, compelling case studies, and comprehensive event coverage. Job Functions Overview:
As a video producer at ACP/Verticomm, you will be a critical member of our marketing team who is responsible for exemplifying our culture, creating compelling video content, and telling our company's story through visual media.
Primary Responsibilities
Pre-Production:
Develop comprehensive storyboards, scripts, and creative concepts aligned with brand objectives.
Collaborate with marketing and other departments to ensure video content aligns with company messaging.
Determine necessary camera equipment and secure additional resources as needed.
Assist in developing interview questions and storyboards
Plan shoots, including location scouting and scheduling
Production:
Transport, set up, and operate various production equipment, including cameras, audio/video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones.
Maintain proper levels and calibration of all production equipment
Direct on-camera talent and manage production crews during shoots
Conduct interviews with staff, clients, and other subjects
Collect supplementary b-roll footage
Execute single-camera shoots independently
Create comfortable environments for interview subjects
Post-Production:
Perform comprehensive video editing, color correction, sound design, and other post-production tasks.
Create motion graphics and visual effects for video enhancement
Ensure quality control throughout the production process
Prepare final deliverables in appropriate formats for various platforms (TV, web, social media)
Content Management:
Maintain and organize the company's video equipment and studio facilities
Archive and organize video assets for easy retrieval and future use
Assist in maintaining video hosting platforms and implementing best practices
Support the social sharing and distribution of video content
Strategic Development:
Develop and implement best practices for video production workflow
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and emerging platforms (VR, AR, etc.)
Manage project timelines and meet deadlines consistently
Balance multiple video projects simultaneously
Contribute to the ongoing evolution of our video creative process
Knowledge and Skills
Technical Expertise:
Advanced proficiency in industry-standard video editing platforms, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
Demonstrated skill in motion graphics and visual effects using Adobe After Effects or Motion
Working knowledge of design software, including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
Comprehensive understanding of professional audio recording techniques and troubleshooting
Expertise in lighting design and implementation for various filming environments
Proficiency in multiple camera operation techniques and equipment maintenance
Creative Capabilities:
Exceptional ability to develop comprehensive storyboards, scripts, and creative concepts
Mastery of advanced composition techniques and visual storytelling principles
Strong understanding of color theory, color grading, and visual aesthetics
Demonstrated ability to translate marketing objectives into compelling visual narratives
Keen eye for identifying and resolving quality issues in both audio and video components
Ability to conceptualize and execute projects from initial brief to final delivery

Requirements and Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in video production with a strong portfolio
No degree requirement - equivalent experience is valued
Comprehensive proficiency in all aspects of video production:
Experience with leading video software (Adobe Creative Suite, Apple Final Cut Pro)
Strong understanding of storytelling through visual media
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
Portfolio of previous video production work showcasing range and quality
