Responsibilities:
Lead and manage land development projects, ensuring effective coordination and successful project delivery.
Provide civil engineering design services, including site planning, stormwater management, and infrastructure design for both private sector clients and public sector/federal agencies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including landscape architects, surveyors, and planners, to create integrated and sustainable designs.
Ensure projects comply with regulatory standards and local jurisdiction requirements.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and ensure timely completion within scope.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to meet project milestones and resolve issues.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a positive and productive team environment. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
4-10 years of civil engineering experience for engineers; Minimum of 8 years land development experience in local jurisdiction
Proven experience in land development design, including stormwater management, site development, and infrastructure planning.
Proficiency in Civil3D and AutoCAD.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, design processes, and project management.
Excellent communication skills to work with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
Motivated, detail-oriented, and focused on delivering high-quality results.
Someone from Virginia Tech with Land development program preferred.
Must have EIT and or PE/working for PE
