HVACR Controls Engineer Carel USA is looking for a HVACR Controls Engineer who has a strong aptitude for designing and developing solutions for HVAC controls systems.
This position will be responsible for the design and development of HVAC/R software solutions using programmable controllers and established product platforms.
This position will also assist in providing technical support within the region.
Designs, develops, and implements programmable control solutions for the HVAC/R industry Trains customers in the use of proprietary hardware and software solutions Interacts and visits with customer, as required to support the development of application software Assists customers in the development and implementation of control solutions Assesses existing control logic to identify issues and potential improvements Works with the sales team to determine customer control requirements Works with sales team and marketing teams to provide feedback based on customer requests, industry trends, and domain knowledge to develop and enhance electronic service offerings.

4 year degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
One or more years of experience working with Programmable Controls and Electronics in a technical or commercial role.
One or more years of experience in the HVAC/R Industry Ability to read electrical schematics and process control diagrams Familiarity with automation protocols such as BACnet and Modbus Basic knowledge of Networking/IT Infrastructure LANGUAGE SKILLS CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Any HVAC/R or ASHRAE certifications or registrations a plus.
