Responsibility Level:

The position incumbent is accountable for deployment of SEA Sales & Marketing strategies into short-term sales plans, through the review of market insights on fitment potentials, market dynamics, pricing opportunities and designed promotional activities, to meet SEA sales & financial objectives.

The position is responsible for gathering market insights & dynamics on the business environment to channel information to relevant internal stakeholders.

This role is also responsible for working with key customers to drive online exposure for the brand/product across various digital channels, enhancing digital capability, designing consumer experience strategy and data-driven marketing execution, and delivering increased awareness, customer acquisition, and engagement.

Typical Duties:

Market & Competitive Insights (30%)

Collect information on market dynamics from customers & sales/commercial associates, to provide monthly inputs to support Asia/APAC MOR activities

Collate competitive pricing information from customers & sales/commercial associates, analyze and identify any tactical or strategic opportunities to improve volume growth

Work with Asia/APAC Marketing & Business Intelligence and Product Teams to identify fitment opportunities and develop sales plan to exploit these opportunities

Sales Planning & Forecasting (30%)

Update weekly sales orders and prepare the SEA sales operations weekly meeting

Update actual sales performance & translate sales/commercial associates sales forecast by customer & technology level, to prepare and revise monthly sales plan to support APAC S&OP process

Translate any pricing & marketing promotions activities into sales volume to be reflected into SEA & Bosch monthly S&OP volume

Pricing & Marketing Program Compliance (40%)

Secure the compliance approval from Finance & Legal for SEA related to commercial excellence (agreements, commercial policy, pricing programs) and secure sign-off from customers, through sales/commercial associates

Work with SEA & Bosch sales leader, sales/commercial associates to develop and prepare sales, pricing & marketing promotions for Asia/APAC approval, and secure sign-off from customers, through sales/commercial associates

Work with Marketing & sales associates to develop marketing promotion program and secure sign-off from customers through sales/commercial associates

Supply Chain’s Demand Planning & Export Team

Sales Operations Korea Team

Technical, Training & Product

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related curriculum

Min. 6 years’ experience in related sales, sales planning & operations function

Strong knowledge of automotive industry and ability to think critically, strategically, and creatively

Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to cross-functional & global stakeholders

Good language and presentation skills, fluent in both Mandarin and English

Advanced level of data processing competency preferred. Well mastery of computer skills including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Regression analysis, etc.

Experienced in strategic planning

Ability to build a collaborative environment

Comfortable with a multi-tasking and multi-time zones working environment

Requires working knowledge and experience in own job discipline and broadens capabilities

Continues to build knowledge of the company, processes and customers

Performs a range of assignments related to job discipline

Uses prescribed guidelines or policies in analysing situations

Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction

Working Conditions:

Based in SEA / Formative Representative Office in Malaysia with willingness to travel up to 25% as business request (covering whole SEA/ Formative markets)
