The role of the Liquidity Risk Manager will have a reporting line to the head of U.S. Liquidity Risk (Structured Balance Sheet Risk). The liquidity risk manager will ensure that the Firm manages its liquidity in accordance with the Firm’s risk appetite and other regulatory requirements, while providing independent oversight and monitoring of the Firm’s Combined U.S. Operations (“CUSO”) overall funding and liquidity management activities.
Provide feedback to the head of liquidity risk management on the efficiency and adequacy of strategies as well as identifying and escalating material risks and emerging issues as it relates to liquidity risk for combined U.S. operations.
Monitor, govern, and challenge various liquidity and funding execution activities. Including funds transfer pricing, balance sheet usage, liquidity and funding projections. This also entails daily monitoring of the Bank’s intraday liquidity risk profile
Evaluate proposals from Treasury on their respective funding strategies and challenging as necessary prior to sharing final proposals to the US CRO
Serve as a knowledgeable professional on quantitative, or qualitative, risk modeling and its impact on Treasury risk
Understand the firm’s businesses and how those businesses create interest rate risk and how this profile changes across various economic scenarios
Provide independent assessment of the firm’s risk with respect to stress and business as usual environments
Develop expertise on US regulatory requirements and follow financial markets and business trends on a frequent basis and analyze how these developments could impact the firm’s risk position
Understand global regulatory requirements and expectations for the firm’s Treasury risk, including both interest rate risk and the liquidity and funding position
The salary range for this position will be between $185,000 - $200,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package.
