Responsibilities:
Organize overall delivery strategy and daily monitoring, risk identification; hold primary responsibility for overall delivery and inventory.
Be fully responsible for SIOP, Master Scheduling, NPDI and drive overall materials management strategy and tactics, governance and continuous improvement, Materials Planning and Inventory Control strategy, develop and improve processes and system requirements to improve efficiencies in the overall Materials Management area.
Be responsible for the inventory strategy and supporting plants in driving reduction programs.
Act as an expert and give directions to improve the overall SIOP, Planning and Purchasing processes with responsibilities between different functions.
Responsible for Business Unit Supply & Inventory planning (SIOP); facilitates interactions with Plants, Procurement and LOB during SIOP Process.
Lead and Organize SIOP from Materials management per product line.
Establish system job standards and organize general business training, share platform best practices.
Centrally manage platform-level tasks, such as common data maintenance and support, platform system planning and rollouts, and common Global business interfaces
Develop and implement master data quality programs for related planning attributes within our business system.
Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive over all improvements in the Inventory and planning areas.
Together with our IT organization identify, specify and prioritize business system and process improvements within the area of his responsibility.
Supporting the direction and the vital alignment and direct communication between material planning, regional purchasing, order management and customers.
Education & Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline.
• MBA or related advanced degree strongly preferred
Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience in Materials management and Inventory control
• 8+ years managerial experience
• Experience in a plant or manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical skills and expert user at Microsoft Excel.
• A strong business acumen
• Ability to work within a matrix management environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Process improvement skills
• Project Management Skills - Ability to organize and schedule people and tasks
• Excellent communications skills – written & verbal
• Highly organized and can multi-task
