The Dallas Cowboys Football Club is seeking a motivated individual to join our Technology team in a part-time Desktop Support role. The candidate should be a technical professional with operations & troubleshooting experience who is committed to going “above and beyond” to serve the customer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES:
Provide support to Cowboys staff for technology related issues and service requests.
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate IT Support Tier.
Distribute new PC’s and laptops as part of annual computer refresh program.
Support VoIP phone system and cellular devices.
Troubleshoot Pro Shop hardware including 2D scanners, Windows tablets, cash drawers, receipt printers, etc.
Troubleshoot Warehouse hardware including label printers, conveyer systems, barcode scanners, and tablets.
Support and implement special projects at the direction of IT staff.
Assist in improving the efficiency of the Cowboys IT organization.
Write and maintain knowledge base documentation and procedures.
Update, maintain, and organize IT inventory.
Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Familiarity with Windows and MacOS computers, as well as web browsers including Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc. within the context of an office environment.
Minimum 1-year previous experience with Microsoft suite of applications, especially Word, Excel, OneDrive, and SharePoint
Proficiency with Retail-oriented applications: Store Commerce (D365), RetailNext, and Dayforce Time Clock preferred.
Working Knowledge of Identity and Access Management and MFA services:
Active Directory and or Microsoft Entra/Intune
Duo Mobile, Microsoft Authenticator, and Okta
Understanding of computer networking concepts and troubleshooting steps
Experience with IT Service Management tools like ServiceNow or TeamDynamix
Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work with people
Analytical, structured approach to problem solving
Detail oriented and organized
Strong writing skills and ability to diligently document common processes and procedures
Desire to gain experience as a computer service professional in a demanding, yet highly rewarding industry
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple projects/priorities
Minimum physical requirements: able to lift and transport up to 50 pounds and handle other physically challenging tasks such as standing for prolonged periods of time
Available to work a variety of hours based on business needs within standard support hours (M-F, 8AM - 5PM)
