Job Summary:
We are hiring Implementation Managers and Specialists to support the nationwide rollout of a next-generation Warehouse Execution System (WES) that enhances traditional warehouse management platforms with real-time automation logic and execution control.
The system integrates with a proprietary WMS to optimize high-throughput distribution environments. Each site deployment includes configuration, system validation, change management, and hands-on coordination with cross-functional teams. This role also involves analyzing workflows, supporting industrial process improvements, and driving operational readiness.
These are 1099 contract positions with recurring 8-9 week deployments per site across the U.S.
Job Duties:
* Maintain and monitor site-specific implementation plans and timelines; track progress and adjust schedules as needed
* Participate in facility assessments, workflow documentation, and readiness planning
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, IT, Engineering, Product, Support) to execute key rollout phases
* Perform or support prework, configuration, cut-over prep, go-live execution, and hypercare support
* Troubleshoot system-related issues in collaboration with technical teams and escalate as appropriate
* Document implementation activities, site-specific exceptions, and lessons learned for continuous improvement
Required Qualifications:
* 5 or more years of experience supporting or managing warehouse management software (WMS/WES) implementations or large-scale warehouse technology rollouts
* Ability to handle multiple assignments, set priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced, agile environment
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to collaborate across technical and operational teams
* Willingness and ability to travel & deploy to client sites within the US
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or relevant field.
* Industrial Engineering experience within a warehouse or manufacturing setting
* Prior experience with platforms such as Connect WMS, HighJump (Körber), Manhattan, Blue Yonder (JDA), SAP EWM, or Infor WMS
* Familiarity with warehouse automation, execution systems, and/or WCS integration
* Background in cold storage, food logistics, or other regulated warehouse environments
* Exposure to ERP/MRP integration, RF technologies, or real-time inventory tracking systems
* Project management or systems analysis experience within supply chain tech environments
