Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Over the Road Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating tractor-trailers. This role involves long-haul driving across multiple states, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods while adhering to all transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

Operate and drive different types of trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, and roll-off trucks.

Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to regulations and safety standards.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.

Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and other required documentation.

Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues on the road.

Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving on highways and local roads.

Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by maintaining professionalism at all times.

Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.

Familiarity with route driving and logistics management is a plus.

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while on the road.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
