General Description

of the role

The Vice President of Marketing will lead our marketing organization and drive growth across all business lines. This role is responsible for building and scaling our brand, driving demand through targeted campaigns, and developing high-impact go-to-market strategies. You will oversee all aspects of marketing, including brand strategy, performance marketing, demand generation, product marketing, content, and communications.

This role also owns paid media strategy and team development to support accelerated B2B and B2C growth and global visibility.

Responsibilities & Objectives

Marketing Strategy & Leadership

Develop, execute, and oversee a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company goals and growth targets.

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team across demand generation, digital marketing, product marketing, and communications.

Collaborate with cross-functional leadership in sales, product, and operations to ensure cohesive messaging and market alignment.

Drive internal marketing operations excellence by building scalable systems, processes, and KPIs that align marketing outputs with business goals.

Foster a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and results within the team.

Inspire and empower direct reports to lead their respective functions with autonomy and accountability.

Brand & Positioning

Own and elevate brand awareness and differentiation in the highly competitive eClinical technology space.

Establish the company as a thought leader through content strategy, PR, industry events, and executive visibility.

Demand Generation, Growth Marketing & Media Buying

Lead integrated demand generation campaigns across digital, email, social, and events to drive qualified pipeline growth.

Implement marketing analytics and attribution models to measure ROI and optimize campaigns.

Own the media buying strategy and execution across performance channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Google Ads, programmatic platforms) with a strong focus on ROI and cost-efficiency.

Partner with revenue operations and sales to optimize funnel performance and nurture strategies.

Product Marketing

Define go-to-market strategies and messaging for product launches and enhancements.

Collaborate with product management and service teams to deeply understand buyer personas, market needs, and competitive dynamics.

Create compelling collateral and sales enablement tools for the commercial team.

Market Intelligence & Analysis

Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments.

Provide insights to inform product strategy, marketing campaigns, and business development.

Qualifications

10+ years of marketing experience with 5+ years in a senior leadership role, preferably in SaaS, healthtech, or life sciences

Strong experience in B2B and B2C marketing, with a focus on performance-driven campaigns

Deep knowledge of digital channels, marketing automation tools, and CRM platforms

Experience leading marketing for a global audience and navigating complex buyer journeys

Strong leadership and team development capabilities with a track record of building high-functioning, cross-functional teams.

Exceptional communication, analytical and organizational skills

Preferred: deep understanding of the clinical trial ecosystem, including key stakeholders (sponsors, CROs, sites, regulators)

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Occasional travel required.
