Industrial Maintenance Technician

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Maintains and repairs all mechanical facilities and physical structures throughout the plant including pumps, boilers, air, water, reactor

· Uses hand and power tools in performing tasks

· Diagnoses problems, tears down, repairs and re-assembles intricate mechanisms and machines

· Installs, adjusts tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies various electrical/mechanical equipment, electrical controls, PLC’s and instrumentation.

· Performs repairs on buildings, roofs, structures and furniture

· Assists technicians and performs other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

· HS Diploma or GED required, additional education/certifications preferred

· Must be available for possible mandatory overtime and weekend work

· Must be able to pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical

· Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude

· Must have work experience in the following areas and be able to take a test demonstrating proficiency in Arc welding, Mig welding. TIG welding, Stick welding, PLCs, Electric, VFDs, HVAC, Pumps, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, GearboxesCompany Description
