Job Description

We are looking to hire tutors who can help with all level of math, English and science, as well as SAT/ACT prep. You do not need to tutor all subjects but please let us know what subject and grades you're interested in tutoring.

Qualifications and Responsibilites:

Work with students on a one-on-one basis

Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, or other related fields a plus but not required

Ability to build rapport with students

Patience and the abilitiy to work well with students

Superb knowledge of educational subjects

Excellent communication skills

Must have own transportation and be willing to travel to Union County, NJ area

Above the Grade provides tutoring to students in grades K-12. We work with students in all subjects including math, English, science, foreign language and SAT/ACT prep and offer in-person tutoring throughout Union County, NJ and surrounding areas. We are currently seeking qualified tutors to assist students at all levels, with an immediate need for high school math including geometry, algebra 2 and calculus, as well as English. Successful applicants will be matched with students based on their needs and your qualifications. Tutoring sessions mainly occur during the afternoons and evenings. Tutoring will take place either in a student's home (following strict safety precautions) or online.
