Role Summary:
Our legal intake and onboarding specialist will evaluate prospective client inquiries and phone calls, analyze whether their potential case will best fit our firm or another, and most importantly let them know they are seen, heard, and important. Each caller is far more than a number at Vaughan & Vaughan. You will set appointments for potential clients, connect potential clients with our lawyers when required, and help to keep our lawyers' schedules organized while growing our caseload. You will also contribute to the early stages of new client onboarding and current client files through data entry and paperwork collection to ensure our cases are managed efficiently. The extent of your contributions down the lifecycle of a case will vary depending on intake demands. You will also help with law firm partnerships to help bring in new cases as well as track outbound referrals.
You will provide a broad spectrum of legal services under the supervision of an attorney, and with your team. We want people who understand the importance of positive team culture, support their teams, and strive to grow within the firm.
What will make you successful:
Minimum of 3 years experience in an administrative role
Personal injury law experience is a plus
Excellent research and analytical skills
Strong organization and attention to detail
Effective interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
Desire to care and serve clients with a strong sense of humility and desire to help
A strong passion for client communication with a desire to fulfill occasional legal assistant duties
Your most important attribute is your ability to connect with and communicate with potential clients in some of their most trying times. The way you treat people, communicate with them, and care about them is everything to this position.
